May 6 Annual Meeting! In accordance with our UU by-laws, this will be our annual meeting. Be sure to attend and let your vote be counted for new officers. We'll also take time to reflect over our past year and hear some ideas about our upcoming year.

May 13 Barbara Tucker, Director Special Services, River Valley Child Development. Mother's Day seems appropriate to learn about the condition of our youngest, most vulnerable citizens. Are we meeting the needs of our children?

May 20 John MacCallum, Director, Center of Alternative Medicine, Hurricane WV. Just what is "alternative medicine" and how can we benefit from its use?

June 3 Poochie Myers - Is God necessary? Agnostics and a view of the need for religion in our lives will "kick off" the summer religious education series.

June 10 Klara Cook - It's only right to start our religion series with Unitarian Universalism. Where did we come from? Where are we going?

June 17 Jan Fout - Ms. Fout will educate us about the Church of God. She'll also lead a discussion about what attracts young adults to the rituals and structures that religion offers.
