Program for Sunday, June 6, 2010

Open Discussion

Come with topics you would like to discuss.  As for me:  I say that Israel is justified in its blockade.  I also say:  The Errol Flynn "Robin Hood" is better than the Russell Crowe version.

Future Programs

June 13:      Ed Necco discusses "American Secularism"

June 20:      Jack Wilkinson portrays "Robert Frost"

June 27:      Jacqueline Muth explores "Occupied Palestine" and the minds therein.

July:           Revolution Month

Retrospective of Last Sunday's Potluck

We came;  we jawed ;  we concurred.  (with apologies to Julius Caesar).

Light from Jack's Lantern

This will be the shortest Newsletter ever under my flagship.  We just bug-bombed our house, and out of sympathy for the poor little fleas I'm playing dead.  While in the somnolent state I'll be fitted for a new collar.  Future uncertain:  may visit son Wells again in Boston during July.  We'll know soon.  Dosing off…  See you Sunday.
